Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing Spring Break!

10th Grade: No homework tonight. Tomorrow we will be in the computer lab, finishing our persuasive letter. If you have not finished your rough draft, that needs to be completely finished by tomorrow. We will only have time to put finishing touches and write a works cited page!

11th Grade: Write a paragraph about whether or not you feel that Frederick Douglas succeeded in writing a persuasive slave narrative, based on his purpose and objectivity. Use the handout we worked on in class. You will be graded based on specific evidence that use to support your opinion.

12th Grade: Read lines 19-80. Take notes as you read and make a list of the knight's characteristics.

**ALL CLASSES- Your novel assignment will be due on Monday. I will give Thursday after our vocab. quiz to work on it in class!

Tuesday, March 9

10th Grade: Finish outline for persuasive letter


11th Grade: No homework


12th Grade: No homework

***ALL CLASSES- The title and author of your novel assignment is due this Friday, March 12th! Novel Assignment #3 will be due on Monday, April 5th!

**Shakespeare Festival on Thursday! Please be at school before 7:30, dress appropriately, and bring money for lunch afterward!

Friday, March 5

10th Grade: Ten notecards due on Monday!!


11th Grade: Finish rough draft of research paper


12th Grade: Think Piece due on Monday

Thursday, March 4

10th Grade: Finish five notecards! If you are finished with your first five, you may begin on your second five, which we will be due on Monday. The second set should be research on the opposite side of your opinion of the issue.

11th Grade: Your research paper rough draft is due on Monday. Students had time in class to work on it today. The rough draft must be typed. Don't forget to study for your vocabulary quiz!


12th Grade: Finish your character map if you did not finish in class. Don't forget to study for your vocabulary quiz!

**ALL CLASSES- Deadline for money and permission slip for the Shakespeare Festival is due tomorrow!!! Don't forget!!

Wednesday, March 3

10th Grade: Three completed research notecards due tomorrow!!! We will continue working on research tomorrow!

11th Grade: No homework!


12th: Think Piece on "Poetry is Dead"- due FRIDAY! This must be typed and doublespaced!

***ALL CLASSES: Permission slips and money are due by this Friday (March 5) for Hamlet at ASF!
